There may be hundreds of types of seams. but mainly 8 types of seams are used in garments making which are as follows:

1) Class-1: super imposed seam

2) Class-2: lapped seam

3) Class-3: bound seam

Introduction

The technology which is used to modify the appearance, outlook comfort ability and fashion of the garments is called garment washing.[1] Depending on garments construction different types of washing process can be done. Twill/Canvas/Knitted/Corduroy - Normal wash, Pigment wash, Caustic, Silicon wash Denim/Jeans/Gabardine - Enzyme wash, Stone wash, Bleach wash, Acid wash Grey fabric- Super white wash.[1]

Bleach wash:

This in one an important step in washing denim & can be done by various bleaching agents
a. Calcium hypo chlorite
b. Sodium hypo chlorite
c. Hydrogen peroxide
d. Potassium permanganate

First two chemicals are commonly being used for every medium to vintage denim but when it comes to super vintage & light shade its advisable to use potassium permanganate bleach to cut the color faster till half way & then neutralize it & go with Liquid ( Hypo ) bleach to adjust the desired shade. This process helps to get Greyer cast & also protects the lycra/spandex , retain elasticity.

Acid wash

Acid wash denim soared in popularity during the 1980s before dying out only to re-emerge, as a retro look, in the early 2000s. Despite the name, these splotch-faded denim products didn't get the look from a bath of acid. Instead, the jeans earned their distinctive look when manufacturers first stripped the denim of its resin finish then applied chlorine to remove the indigo that gives classic denim its traditional blue hue. The result Denim light in color with white splotches where the chlorine acted more aggressively.

Whiskers:

Mustaches or whiskers are one of the most important design of a used look garment. The idea of whiskers is taken form the worn out lines and impression patterns generated by natural wearing on hips and front thigh area. On old jeans, a number of patterns can be find consequential to fabric, body shape of user or sitting posture.

Introduction :

Washing is a process in which heavy or slight soiling is removed and transferred to the water in the form of a solution or dispersion. Washing has the effect of cleaning surfaces. The resulting effect is several physical/ chemical processes. Garment washing is the best touch of a garment. Same type of garments can produce several effects for several wash. The RMG industry of Bangladesh started its modest journey in late 1970s and within three decades, it has been a flourishing sector. Contribution of the RMG sector in national economy is great. It is the highest foreign exchange earning sector. As garment industry is a leading sector in Bangladesh economy and labor unrest is a burning issue at present.
